Now in our 23rd year, Carolina Nurseries has become an industry leader in wholesale growing of premium perennials, woody shrubs, and trees. The mild winters and the temperate summers combine to give Moncks Corner one of the best growing climates in the United States. With 320+ acres in production, we sell to independent garden centers, home and garden chains, and landscapers from Florida to Massachusetts and West to Texas. We’ve built our reputation on the highest quality plant material and sales/support services, insuring trade and consumer satisfaction.

Our product line ranges from A to Z with Azaleas, Camellias, Ferns, Grasses and Aquatics, Hydrangeas, a wide range of perennials, and more. Offering varieties with retail appeal, our growing starts with research and development and an extensive network of breeders and propagators to bring unique selections to production. State-of-the-art farm facilities and operations allow us to rapidly build quantities and availabilities for more than 1000 retail outlets served by the nursery.

With an innovative approach to all aspects of operations, we’ve pioneered many systems for efficiency and convenience including our new Customer Portal; a real-time email network that keeps buyers informed of current plant availabilities and quality; a mechanized canning facility that streamlines production; a proprietary software program that loads and routes delivery vehicles for maximum efficiency and fuel economy; and custom tag identification and labeling.

In 2002, Carolina Nurseries founded Novalis, a growers consortium that grows, distributes, markets and merchandises unique selections to independent garden centers across the country. The Novalis product lines are encompassed in several proprietary programs and collections under the Plants That Work® brand.
